This year, two lucky schools won the Ultimate Cool School Sweepstakes. Each school will each experience a thrilling hands-on science assembly at their school that is fun and interactive, but also underscores the importance of science literacy.

Last year's winner was Kalya Newsome from Rogers Heights Elementary School in Bladensburg, MD. On June 3, the school experienced the Ultimate Cool School Science Day assembly, complete with engaging science demonstrations, hands-on activities and thrilling special surprises.

What is the Ultimate Cool School Assembly?

Two lucky schools (grades K-3 and 4-6 winners) will win a spellbinding school assembly that is not only fun and interactive, but also underscores the importance of science literacy. Students will be amazed as they participate in interactive demonstrations and conduct mind-blowing experiments with a leading science guru and personality. Teachers will discover "cool" new hands-on activities and stimulating resources that will excite students in a special professional development workshop.
